// Jerry’s Thoughts//

Hello and welcome to another episode of Jerry’s Thoughts. Where I have stayed up all night over thinking and spill out my analysis on tumblr for no one to read. Let’s begin.

You know when you have a favourite band. You FREAKIN LOVE this band more than life itself. You have all the CDs and DVDs and posters all over your room. You have the shirts and wrist bands and concert ticket blue tacked to your mirror. They are your desktop background, your ringtone. You know every lyric, every guitar solo, every drum beat to every song. You haven’t gone a day without listening to them, for what feels like a million years. You know everything about all the band members like you know them personally.
Anyway, so one day, you find this new band. And they are awesome. Like insanely good. They make you want to sing and dance. The songs are fantastic, so catchy. You start listening to them a lot. Then suddenly you are listening to your iPod, and a song from that favourite band comes on. And subconsciously, you’ve pressed skip to listen to the new band. Not until the end of the song you realise what you’ve done. You feel terrible. So you immediately go back and listen to the song you skipped. Heck you listen to them for 2 straight hours out of guilt. But you really like this new band. You want to know the meaning behind its lyrics. You want to study the album art.
So you’re listening to your iPod and slowly you’re feeling less guilty about pressing skip. You just don’t want to offend your favourite band. You invested so much time, money and emotion into that band. But really, no matter how much you love that band, they have no idea who you are. They don’t care about you like you do them. But you just cant shake it off. What do you do? How do you fix it? Can you ever really move on?
